About
rob graduated from college in pensacola, florida in 1997, and worked in south carolina for a few years before being called to ministry. he worked for a year with 1027 church in midtown atlanta, and peachtree community church, a group of believers meeting in west metro atlanta, for four years.
rob has served as interim worship pastor for a few churches, and can on occasion be found leading worship for a gathering in and around atlanta. he is passionate about communicating the grace of God to His children.
i grew up in a great Christian home in richmond, virginia, but surrounded by church ideology that made God out to be an accountant of good and bad deeds, doling out reward and punishment based on my behavior. thank God that twenty-some years in, someone took an interest in me, and taught me that the grace of God encompasses me, and that even my greatest achievements still fall way short of a holy and perfect God.
the influences
who was it that said, “i am nothing, if not a sponge”? i don’t remember, maybe that’s a new one. the people listed below, in one way or another, have made a huge impact on my life, my walk with God, and, though i continue to grasp at it, my realization of the redeemed life that God intended each of us to live. and, if you’re reading this list, chances are you’ve made an impact as well. thanks to each of you for taking an interest in my well-being…
