another year older
in 21 hours (may 20th, 11:52pm), i turn 30. verdict is still out as to whether it will be one of those difficult birthdays or simply a passing from one day to the next. 27 was a rough birthday for me. a transition from the mid-twenty’s to the late-twenty’s. and that’s just one step closer to thirty. they say age is just a number, but youth is a state of mind. we’ll see!!
[EDIT 5/21, 1:55am]: by the way, i know of several people over thirty that are still living productive lives. that makes aging slightly less daunting :)
